In one minute
Mejengón is a production sports and social platform for organizing matches, recording live events, building player statistics, and connecting players, clubs, and venues around the games they already play.

Match detail: score and play-by-play summary.
Match setup: Public, Club and Invitation visibility.
The engineering behind it
The core challenge is modeling match events into coherent statistics while keeping the experience simple enough for people with very different levels of comfort with technology.
Statistics model
The product captures many match events. The work is to model and analyze those events so statistics and scoring reflect the intended behavior.
Usability
The system has to stay simple for a wide audience. Architecture and UX were refined through practical use: what worked, and what had to change.
Current status
The system is in production and used in real matches.
